Registering high-rise residential buildings: deadline approaches



All high-rise residential buildings in England must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) by 1 October 2023.


A high-rise residential structure has:

  • at least 7 floors or at least 18 metres in height

  • at least 2 residential units

You must submit and pay for your registration application by 30 September 2023. The cost of the application is £251 per building.
